KASIM SAMAROO It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father Kasim Samaroo, who left us on April 29, 2014. Kasim was born on June 12, 1932, in Guyana, South America. He was the son of the late Sahidan and Mr. Samaroo. He was predeceased by this loving wife Bibi. Father of Farida (Shahir), Saferan (Abdool), Janet (Mahammad), Shameer (Fazia), Rayman (Christine), Veena and Malika (Naz). Grandfather of 13, grandfather-in-law of seven, great-grandfather of 20. Brother of the late Mustapha, Janet, Rojan and Amahad. Dad immigrated to Canada in August of 1986, to be with his children in Winnipeg. Dad was a very loving and generous man who always took care of his family. We will miss you dearly. A religious ceremony will be held at the Winnipeg Grand Mosque, 2445 Waverley St., at 2:00 p.m. The burial will take place at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Reception to follow at the CanadInns Windsor Park, 1034 Elizabeth Road. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dad's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
